Lunawanna · South Bruny Island · Tasmania
A waterfront retreat metres from the edge of Daniel's Bay — where seabirds wheel overhead, wallabies wander at dusk, and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel glows at sunset.
Little Belmont is a classic waterfront cottage sitting on an acre of land overlooking Daniel's Bay in peaceful Lunawanna, South Bruny Island. Metres from the water's edge, it's a rare spot where the only thing on the agenda is nothing at all.
Unwind by the firepit as magical sunsets paint the D'Entrecasteaux Channel in gold. Gather around the wood burner on crisp evenings. Watch white wallabies drift through the garden at dusk. Wake to seabirds and shifting sandbanks.
The cottage has a charming retro character — of its era and proud of it — with modern comforts layered in: luxurious king bed, fast Starlink internet, a Smart TV, and a gas BBQ on the timber deck with uninterrupted bay views.
Superhost Edward and co-host Georgina are responsive, experienced hosts with 12 years of welcoming guests to Bruny Island.
